The First Conference on Xenobiology (XB1) aims to gather scientists, engineers, designers, policy makers and other stakeholders to chart the paths toward an entirely novel biodiversity. The conference will take place in Genoa, Italy, from 6 to 8 of May, 2014.
The XB1 will encompass 4 main sessions:
- Nucleic Acids and self replication
- Proteins and genetic re-coding
- Responsible Innovation
- Metabolism and chemical design
A few seats are still available for registration and young scientists (PhD students and early postdocs) may apply for a travel grant.
